How To Add Feminine Flair To Your Boyfriend Pieces

How To Add Feminine Flair To Your Boyfriend Pieces

Alyssa Walls

These days oversized is in. There seems to be a boyfriend version of everything! Boyfriend jeans, boyfriend sweaters, boyfriend cardigans; they all have a cool, relaxed vibe to them. Oversized is good but sometimes you want to add some girly touches to that cool look. One of the ways to do this is to make sure that the oversized piece is in a girly color. Ive brought you this boyfriend cardigan in a lovely shade of mauve, an almost grey lavender. I love a good slouchy sweater and this one couldn't be more perfect!

Another way of doing this is to add a touch of lace. Lace always gives off a girly vibe! This t shirt with lace hem was the perfect piece! Since it's a t shirt it still has that relaxed feel to it, but the lace hem adds interest and a certain girly charm. I was looking for more of a laid back look, so I paired them with distressed denim, sneakers, and sunglasses.

I am loving the sneakers trend, and these star ones are definitely a new favorite! Sneakers work well with your boyfriend pieces, but if you're looking for an even dressier touch, add some heels and statement earrings!

Do you remember the post I did on JORD wood watches? (If you missed it, you can find it HERE) I seriously can not stop wearing this watch! I love it so much and get so many compliments on it. It's the perfect size and the neutrals colors seriously pair with everything!

Here are a few tricks for you to style your boyfriend pieces with a little more girly class!

1. Get your boyfriend pieces in a girly color, such as this mauve cardigan. Try getting your oversized sweaters in pink, blush, lavender, light blue, or plum.

2. Add girly touches such as lace, pearls, or florals!

3. Style your boyfriend jeans or sweater with some heels.

4. Style them with classier pieces, such as wearing your boyfriend sweater with a pencil skirt, or your boyfriend jeans with a silk blouse!
